The DEP, through its consolidated experience in assessing the quality of scientific evidence plays a scientific and methodological support to the the Commission activities for the preparation and updating of PTOTR.

In particular, he participated in the production of guidelines and technical reports, based on the synthesis of available scientific evidence, relating to:

  • bisphosphonates
  • use of antibiotics in the hospital setting
  • Gammaidrossibutirrico acid (GHB)
  • Acamprosato
  • Mifepristone (RU486)
